At The Sketch Effect, we make ideas understandable and actionable through awesome visual communication. Our partners have awesome ideas and, as part of Drawing Good, each partner receives either one video project or two days of live sketching “on-the-house.” Together, we are drawing good.

REFUGE COFFEE CO.

2018: This 2-D Animated Style video was produced for our friends at Refuge Coffee Co.  The team at Refuge needed a video that explained the incredible job training work they do with the local refugee population in Clarkson, GA. Click here to learn more about Refuge Coffee Co. and their mission of “Welcome.”

2019: The Refuge Coffee team hosted their weekly “Chai-Making Workshop with Leon” at our office, in which our team learned about the history, ingredients, and process behind one of Refuge Coffee’s most iconic drinks. We live-sketched this workshop to create a board the captures the most critical steps of the Chai-making process, and also live-sketched the Refuge Coffee Co story. Later in the year, our artist, Ross, created an Interactive board at the annual “Speak Refuge” event,  a community night centered around the mission of “welcome”

Love Beyond Walls

2018: This 2-D Animation Style video was produced for our friends at Love Beyond Walls. The LBW team requested a simple overview video that helps tell the story of Terrence and Cecelia Lester, the founders of this “Movement of Doers”. Click here to learn more about Love Beyond Walls and their mission to fight homelessness and poverty.

2019:In March, Love Beyond Walls launched the Dignity Museum, a traveling museum that shares the story of those who are forgotten. We attended the launch party and created an Interactive board that asked attendees what prompted them to visit the museum and what was their biggest takeaway? GOOD SAMARITAN HEALTH CENTER

2018: This Whiteboard Style video was produced for the good people at The Good Samaritan Health Center.  The team at “Good Sam” needed a video that recapped their 2017 Annual Report in an effort to thank and energize the incredible group of donors, volunteers and staff that support Good Sam’s mission in Atlanta. Click here to learn more about Good Sam and their mission to bring quality healthcare to those in need.

2019: This year, we offered our Live-Sketching services to help capture the ideas from the first annual Good Samaritan Institute. The team at Good Sam created this event “to further our clinic’s impact and participate as a thought leader in charitable care…to convene healthcare professionals, publish cutting-edge research, and educate the next generation of providers to improve the quality of healthcare for those in need.” It was a privilege to help capture and illustrate the ideas that came out of this inspiring event.
